Civil duty this! civil duty that! Civil duty? More like civil BOOTY. I only vote if I feel like it’s going to affect me and my lifestyle. I can say with 100% assuredness, that despite a democrat or a republican being president, the price of Netflix has constantly gone up. I’ve voted both ways! I tried for Barack AND Trump, I even wrote in Kanye last year. The only change Barack brought was higher freakin prices. 11.99 to 15.49?? I usually don’t get political but I have good knowledge to believe that Russia is actively rigging the Netflix membership pricing system. I mean, when they rigged our election that was whatever but now they really hit us where it hurts, streaming platforms. Everyone knows that somewhere between 1999-2024 americas favorite past time switched from baseball to binge watching and it shows. Netflix has more viewers than the number of mfs that voted last year, fuck a civil duty, I’m trying to watch all seasons of the office before they take it off the streaming platform again. I am convinced that the only reason people were out rallying for the right to vote was because they couldn’t afford Hulu plus, when people aren’t distracted and pacified by passive entertainment THATS when real world change happens. But when you start upping the price of my distraction THATS when I get irritated. Whattya want me to turn my tv off and research the potential candidates and how their policies would impact the future outcome of me and my prospective children’s lives??? Uh no thank you.
